Starting Point

Starting Point Info/Membership Session is an informal gathering hosted by Rev. Matthew Na that provides visitors with more information about ACC and the United Methodist Church. Although there is absolutely no obligation, there is also a short ceremony at the end of the presentation and Q&A for anyone who would like to become an official member of ACC. If you have any questions, please contact our administrator Sarah Hur (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)).

Currently there are no Starting Point sessions scheduled at this time. Please check back soon for our next session.

Membership

Becoming a member of ACC involves making a public promise or "covenant" to live according to the Word of God and to support the work and life of the congregation. While every believer is part of the Church (the Spiritual Body of Christ) as an organism, only by a promise do you become part of the church (ACC) as an organization. Even though the privileges are the same between members and visitors of ACC alike, membership is for those who are ready and willing to enter into a deeper commitment, level of accountability and relationship with our church family. Therefore, we encourage everyone who calls ACC their church home to consider becoming an official member.

Church membership is not like membership in any other social club or community group. Unlike the traditional paradigm where an organization exists to serve its members alone, ACC is a completely different community where the organization and its membership seek to serve others. As such, we take very seriously our great responsibility and privilege to share God's love and care with not only our members, but all others as well.
